Web protection and Spam filtering
Web protection allows you to filter sites based on several categories and set up additional allow and block lists. Some support services allow you to set up a schedule. For example, if you want your employees to be able to check their social networking feeds only during their lunch break, you can unblock websites only for an hour of their lunch break, for example. Spam filtering also plays an important role in your security system. There are features that filter spam and phishing emails at the server level to prevent them from reaching your employees’ mailboxes. However, it is likely that some emails will get through. In those cases, a combination with other security systems can be very beneficial. Some of the major software packages have excellent spam filtering capabilities, so if you currently have one installed, I would recommend that you continue to use it.
